Now that she is finally coming back, my eagerness for watching this heavenly magnificence on the horizon of CSI is increasing by the day. Let’s hope that this time around, her stay is much longer.

I know that many fans of CSI share the same emotions. Fans expectations are shooting up the sky. They feel that they might see Jorja playing Grissom’s character this time as well. Jesus! This is the damn news that I’ve been literally waiting for! I just wanted to ask her personally, hey princess, had you been lost? What were the reasons to leverage your absence from the show? But as of now, all my unanswered queries seem to get a hold on themselves after hearing about this great news! I just loved the character of Sarah Sidle, portrayed by her in CSI, and Jorja’s stunts always killed me in my chest!

The major force that made me to watch CSI all the time was Sarah’s aura only! Her sudden departure from the show made me a bit skeptic whether I would watch the show further or not? Well, her small appearances in some of the episodes pulled me back from my fear of loosing the pleasure of watching CSI. Though I wasn’t satisfied even when she was in talks, regarding her return for next five episodes, but now my thirsty soul’s thirst seems to be quenched! I mean what the heck! Just only for 5 episodes? It wouldn’t satisfy me at all!

The same is true with many of her fans! Since she was associated with Peterson in the show, so fans are also expecting the return of Grissom in the show! Their on-screen chemistry seemed to be real and marvelously rejuvenating! But pals, here is a bad rumor also in the air that Grissom won’t return! Anyhow, the return of Jorja will surely boost the interest of the viewers. She has an enormous fan club and definitely this’ll help boosting the no. of viewers for the channel! Hush! These marketing people exactly know how to create these stunts to raise the channel’s sagging ratings!

Sarah left the show in episode entitled ‘Goodbye and Goodluck’ thereafter making some guest appearances and Garrison left the show last season only. Though it was seen in one episode that they got married with each other, but I guess this time people’s expectations are at the helm of the fact to witness the hit couple once again for more time!

Hey everyone! Our very favorite show CSI has achieved yet another milestone. And, I am sure that from the title of this write up you must have already deduced which milestone I am talking about. It is really an achievement that the show will be used as a means of enhancing the language skills of students who do not use English as their first language.

We know of shows having inspired other shows, with CSI itself being the perfect example, as it inspired not one but two spin-offs. We have also heard about real life incidents that were inspired from scenes of popular shows and movies. And the industry is full of examples where a show or a movie is based on the events happening in the real world. But this is perhaps the first time that a show will be actually used in teaching some skills to students. What a proud moment it is for our beloved show, CSI!

Now, if some of you are wondering, why CSI was picked, let me tell you. Apart from the fact that the show is immensely popular not only across America but across the globe, it was primarily picked up because it is quite interesting. Students taking EFL/ESL classes are trained in listening skills also, and the listening files made available to them are apparently full of boring chatter.

But now, in order to make the listening classes interesting, the students will be made to watch CSI TV show, which besides improving their listening skills will improve their accents and teach them a lot of slang. Also, the students will be allowed to discuss the show after they have seen it which is definitely going to help in improving their speaking skills. Now that is really innovative, isn’t it guys!

Following months of speculation and rumors, it has finally been confirmed that our beloved show, CSI, will be turned into a movie, for the big screen. The news has recently been confirmed by William Peterson, who is the executive producer of the series and has also acted in it.

The actor said that, they did not wait for the series to end, before going ahead with the idea of a movie, because they got the right story. Also, it was not worth waiting for the series to come to an end, as by that time Gil Grissom, whose character was portrayed by William Petersen himself, would be about 90, and hence too old to be a part of the cast. He also said that they had found a story that could not be told on TV and needed to be told from CSI’s perspective.

I tend to agree with Mr. Petersen, as given the popularity of CSI, the series is definitely going to continue for many years to come. And, if the producers feel that they have an apt story for a full length feature film, I think they should go ahead with the project.

In any case, it is a win-win situation for the fans of CSI, as they will get to watch their favorite characters, solving crimes on the big screen, while the show is still airing on the small screen. This is not true for most other series, whose movies have been made, only after the series stopped airing.

But then, CSI was never a show that followed the examples of other popular shows, It grew from strength to strength and reached the pinnacle of popularity, mainly because it set down its own trends and rules. The show is perhaps the only one, which has two equally successful spin-offs, airing at the same time as the original series itself.

CSI is currently airing its Season 9 and has recently crossed the 200th episode milestone. But even though the show has been on air for so many years, it has been able to maintain its high ratings, and each new season, new fans get hooked on to the series. Well, I truly feel good as it is one of the shows I never miss!

Saw the spectacular awards on CBS. ‘The People’s Choice Awards.’ So just gonna jot down my thoughts.
The People’s Choice Awards prides itself to be the kind of awards function where the people choose the winners. The event was also significant as it marked the 35th year of its inception. The most interesting thing I like about this show is that the voting happens online. I mean that’s just so good for us net junkies.

Latifah was the host yet again, and I must tell you some thing. It was exciting, invigorating and absolute fun. It is a departure from the Oscars and the Emmys concept, which indeed, is a refreshing change for us viewers.

But the disappointment came as the House over won the Favorite TV Drama category leaving behind our very favorite show CSI: Crime Investigation Team.

I know, awards don’t matter much, but still, it is a good show and a very popular one. It was deemed as the most watched show in the world at one time I remember.

Other award winner include, Hugh Laurie for ‘best male actor’ [House], Two and And a Half Men for the ‘Favorite TV Comedy’ and The Simpsons in the category of ‘favorite animated comedy’.

Ok, am upset a bit, had to share the news with all the fans out there that voted and wished like me for CSI.
