Saw the spectacular awards on CBS. ‘The People’s Choice Awards.’ So just gonna jot down my thoughts.
The People’s Choice Awards prides itself to be the kind of awards function where the people choose the winners. The event was also significant as it marked the 35th year of its inception. The most interesting thing I like about this show is that the voting happens online. I mean that’s just so good for us net junkies.

Latifah was the host yet again, and I must tell you some thing. It was exciting, invigorating and absolute fun. It is a departure from the Oscars and the Emmys concept, which indeed, is a refreshing change for us viewers.

But the disappointment came as the House over won the Favorite TV Drama category leaving behind our very favorite show CSI: Crime Investigation Team.

I know, awards don’t matter much, but still, it is a good show and a very popular one. It was deemed as the most watched show in the world at one time I remember.

Other award winner include, Hugh Laurie for ‘best male actor’ [House], Two and And a Half Men for the ‘Favorite TV Comedy’ and The Simpsons in the category of ‘favorite animated comedy’.

Ok, am upset a bit, had to share the news with all the fans out there that voted and wished like me for CSI.
