Life

Eads grew up in Belton, Texas, and is son of Arthur Coleman "Cappy" Eads and Vivian Baker. His sister, Angela Eads Tekell is a lawyer based in Waco, Texas. His step father is a gynecologist. In 1985, Eads graduated from Belton High School and in 1990 he graduated with a degree in marketing from Texas Tech University. He was the member of the Phi Delta Theta fraternity at the university. He started his career with Cintas, working as a copy machine salesman and selling safety and first aid supplies.

Career
Eads borrowed a pickup truck from his stepfather and drove up to Los Angeles, California to enter into the acting field. Though, when he landed in Los Angeles, the headlights of the truck were broken. His big break came in the show Savannah.

He worked in TV shows like: Evel Knievel (2004), Monte Walsh (2003), Second String (2002), Just a Walk in the Park, CSI: Crime Scene Investigation (2000 - present), Crowned and Dangerous, Yasmine Bleeth (1997), Monte Walsh (2003), Grapevine (2000), The Spring (2000), Crowned and Dangerous (1997), The Ultimate Lie (1996), Savannah (1996), Dust to Dust (1994) as Black Wolf and did guest appearances on the shows like Two and a Half Men, ER and That 70's Show.

CSI: Crime Scene Investigation

           

In CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, Eads portrays the character of CSI Level 3: Nick Stokes, who is a friendly and easy going fellow with a degree in criminal justice from Texas A&M University. He is also a former college baseball player and fraternity members from Dallas, Texas. His attitude is more sympathetic than his colleagues at the CSI as he has been a victim of child abuse and some times gets sentimental in cases for which he has to face wrath of others. He is also very fluent in Spanish.
