The phenomena of the crime forensic show, CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, kick started with its first season that premiered on 6th October, 2000 and with total 23 episodes, ended on 17th May, 2001.
The main characters in this season of the show were Gil Grissom (William Petersen), Warrick Brown (Gary Dourdan), Catherine Willows (Marg Helgenberger), Nick Stokes (George Eads), Jim Brass (Paul Guilfoyle) and Sara Sidle (Jorja Fox).
